Wednesday Developing Week 11/11

On wednsday some of us attended the Peer Review while the rest worked individually

  • Julia prepared for thursdays photography & video-shoot

  • Denise worked on the Stereotype & expression room

  • Isa worked on creating objects for the stereotype room

  • Vivian started creating the "Black & White Room"

  • Macie explored & developed sounds for the rooms in Ableton 10 Live

  • Felicia developed the Nature room, worked on the Gitbook & prepared for the dance shoot

Vivian & Felicia also went to the Peer Review with Shay and got some good feedback

  • Make it clear what you're focusing on

  • Better to do one thing instead of many

  • Focus on feminine characteristics instead of what people think of femininity

  • Using people when showing femininity can easily be made wrong

  • Make sure that you're message is inviting to everyone and not to challenging that people will back off

Being that we alread have a purpose of each of our rooms, and they are all part of one bigger message we decided to apply the feedback to some parts of the exibition.

  • In photographs; focusing on characteristics instead of creating different visual feminine pictures of different genders

  • In nature room have a "speach" about how femininity is connected to nature, so that it becomes clear why we have that room. So it doesn't just become a forest.

  • Make it more clear what each room is about and it's purpose in the exibition. this can be done in beginning or end of exibition, or before entering each room.

We are currently devided into groups with different responsibilities. Checking in a few times a day we make sure we're all aligned on the project.
